Make-A-Wish Dines In Orange County This August
Two very different events share two things in common this August in Orange County: they both benefit Make-A-Wish Orange County, and they both involve dining. Lobsterfest in Newport Beach is a beach party paired with a feast of your favorite seafood. Women, Wishes And Wine…Oh My! is a reception to raise membership for the It’s In The Bag Luncheon presented by Women For Wishes. Attending either of these events is a fun and easy way to help grant wishes to local children with life-threatening medical conditions!
Lobsterfest
On August 7 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., you can enjoy Lobsterfest at the Newport Dunes Resort and Marina (101 N. Bayside Drive, Newport Beach, Calif. 92660). Make-A-Wish Orange County invites you to join in this fun-filled beach party for just $60, or $150 for the extra special VIP admission. With boats and blue waters lining the beautiful horizon, you will feast on delicious Maine lobster, crab claws, shrimp and clams. Meanwhile, you can delight in the festive live entertainment right on the beach stage. This terrific event is extra special because the proceeds help both Make-A-Wish Orange County and Leadership Tomorrow. Women, Wishes And Wine…Oh My!
Join the Women’s Circle Of Wishes at the Wish House in Orange County and the Inland Empire (3230 El Camino Real Suite 100, Irvine, Calif. 92602) to help drive membership to this charitable organization. On August 18 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., enjoy the company of local ladies and the taste of wine for this year’s Women, Wishes And Wine…Oh My! The Women’s Circle Of Wishes work collectively to tell the Make-A-Wish story in the area all while raising money toward granting wishes for local children. Women, Wishes And Wine will help get the Women For Wishes: It’s In The Bag Luncheon off the ground in order to raise the necessary funds to give local children with life-threatening medical conditions hope, strength, and joy.
