Tour De Palm Springs Benefits Make-A-Wish Feb. 8

Getting out for a bike ride in the lovely Palm Springs weather is a great way to spend a winter’s day. But when you register for the annual Tour de Palm Springs, you can help Make-A-Wish Orange County and the Inland Empire at the same time.
The annual Tour de Palm Springs hosted by CVSpin is one of the great charity cycling events in America, with more than 10,000 bicyclists riding to support more than 100 local charities in the Coachella Valley. Riders are serenaded by more than 25 bands and choirs of all types: symphony, jazz, rock ‘n roll and marching bands. There will also be more than 1,000 volunteers on hand to assist you along with the way.
Routes For Cyclists Of All Levels
No matter your skill level, there’s a route for you. Bike routes of 1, 2, 3, 5, 10, 25, 55 or 100 miles are available. If biking isn’t your thing, you can walk the 1-, 2- or 3-mile routes. You can register online now. Registration fees run from $5 to $65 depending on your distance, and there are discounts for the 5-, 10- and 25-mile rides if you’re under 18. Registration also includes one t-shirt per entry, but special cycling jerseys are available for purchase as well.
